The bed side table had a drawer and in it was a crack pipe and other drug related items. My wife lost sleep over that. Not a comfortable feeling. The room was cluttered with used furniture, didnt look like the photos on line. When we checked out and showed the staffer the photo they claimed a woman had stayed there the night before. I dont agree, it looked like it had been there much longer and the room would have smelled. No apology was given and no refund offered. Motel needs an renovation/update overhaul big time.

We arrived at the motel, it looks run down, it had already been a long day, so we checked in but as soon as we got into the room we decided to find another hotel. It was damp and run down and felt dirty.

Clean, comfortable room.

Stayed three days in mid-June to attend a fibre fest in nearby Fenelon Falls (and relax). Friendly desk staff, fridge/microwave, TV — all fine. Comfy bed. Great value, too.

I felt that the owners really meant attempt to make the rooms quite pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. My room looked nothing like the photo however I didn’t need a full kitchenette.

Midpoint convenient stay

Clean place and friendly staff. Overall, nice place to stay, especially if you’re visiting various provincial parks in and surrounding Kawartha.
