I’m genuinely surprised by the high ratings for this hotel—it’s hard to believe it’s ranked as the second-best in all of Phuket. The property feels rundown and lacks any real energy or atmosphere. Upon arrival, there was no staff to assist us with our luggage, and we had to carry it ourselves to an open-air lobby with no greeting or welcome. The breakfast buffet is also outdoors, which made for an uncomfortable, sweaty experience in the heat. Our room was disappointing—unclean and very basic, with nothing that made it feel special or worth the price.

Pool access room was great, service was outstanding. Reataurants, currency exchanges assorted street vendors, 7/11 and night market were all quite near. Quiet at night. Beach is a bit of a trek. Overall i enjoyed my stay.

My stay at Chanalai Romantica Resort was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel special. The resort truly lives up to its name—it’s perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and come with a private balcony overlooking the stunning pool. The decor is modern yet cozy, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. Really lovely hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and they put a message in the room and brought cake which was a nice touch. Our room was a great size, with huge bath and shower. Very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good with a nice, varied selection. Would recommend to others.
