Host was a lovely person who was eager to be helpful. Apartment was very small with huge furniture. Little to no closet space, master bedroom bed was too talk to feel comfortable. No place to put luggage other than the living room. Only one beach towel, no welcome kit. 3 garbage bags for an 8 day stay, no bath products. This unit has an awesome lanai and wonderful potential, but in its current state I wouldn’t rent it again.

Beautiful Views, but Condo needs updates

My husband and I just stayed over Memorial Day weekend. We rented this condo for ocean view, and yes the view from Lanai was absolutely gorgeous. We really liked sitting outside. Unfortunately the condo itself, we did not like. The bed was very uncomfortable, hard and we could feel the springs which made our back hurt. The mattress seems to be very old and definitely needs replacing. The the decor was not cozy for us too. Half of the unit was nice island theme which was over powered by red bourgeoisie looking items. We come to the island a lot, and next time will look for a different ocean view condo.

Incredible view

Amazing private lanai with an incredible oceanfront view. Very comfortable condo. Well equipped kitchen and wonderfully decorated. Close to town and an easy walk to great restaurants and shops. Great communication with the management staff, who are very friendly and helpful.

Best lanai!!

Very comfortable condo, easy parking with great communication with owner. Very responsive to questions! Cannot beat the pure beauty of the water, sound of waves and of course the sunsets from the lanai on the upper level!! Enjoyed watching the body surfers with coffee or an acai bowl. We frequently walked to restaurants on Ali'i Drive for an assortment of tasty food. Location really worked for us.

But the AC is only in the main room, the bedroom does not have AC and there is no air flow back there. We set up fans and it was still quite hot in the bedroom. the owners are *very* nice and brought over fans. If you're sensitive to heat, check with the owners to see if the AC has been installed in the back yet!

Great Location & View

What this place has going for it is location and view. It is very close to town, so you don't have to get into a car and drive. The view is amazing and the sounds of waves crashing below your balcony all day were wonderful. They advertize it sleeps 4, however the unit is not large enough for 4 adults. Possibly 2 small children in addition to two adults. The king bed takes up pretty much the entire bedroom and there is nowhere to put your luggage, so we needed the living room area for luggage, etc. The amenities are pretty much the same as most condo units where you can do some basic food preparation. The outdoor grill area is great! They keep it well maintained and very clean. Also, you need a pool key to get to the grills unlike other condos we have stayed at where grills are available to anyone that comes onto the property. We would book this place again given the price and location.

Great Location Great Condo

Our 2nd time at this resort. 1st time in this condo. It was clean, well appointed kitchen, located close to a sand beach, easy walk to town for restaurants, shopping, and pier. Close to other beaches, restaurants, grocery, etc. Met several other travelers & all cordial. On site office staff gave us a map and suggested places to see. Definitely would stay here again. And recommend to friends.

Perfect base for Ironman World Champioships

We have stayed in the complex before so knew the location was excellent, just a 20min easy walk to the Pier. This Condo, facing directly out to the ocean was amazing. We ate out on the Lani every day. The sea breeze cooled the condo and we only needed the Air conditioner on late in the afternoon. We used the pool and BBQ everyday. We would 100% book this condo again.

Kona Reef

Great location, could easily walk to places, which we loved not having to find parking. The place had everything we needed. The view from the lanai was perfect, saw whales and a pod of dolphins swim by. If I had any cons with the condo, it would be that I wish there were more hangers in the closet. Another pro, my husband loved that it had a coffee grinder to enjoy his Kona coffee!
