Beautiful condo, lovely location, perfect for our needs. Watching the sunset was a highlight!The only ding I would give is that the owner lives out of country, and responses were mostly automated. Normally I wouldn't necessarily care, but as we were traveling to the island during massive storms with flooding and power outages reported and trying to decide if it was more responsible to keep our reservations or not travel...it would have been a big benefit to have timely replies. It all worked out fine, and we were very happy with our stay and location, however. We would stay there again!

Location and amenities, View and jacuzzi!!Condo was very nice, could use some updates in furniture but the beds were comfortable and clean There wasn’t any trash canisters evidently they are out in the road in and haven’t been distributed Besides that we had a great time!

Best sunset view from the lanai!

The pictures don’t do it justice. Truly a beautiful location! Close to very nice beaches and harbor. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Security was tight and we felt very safe. Communications with the owner was fantastic. Everyone did everything they could to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this place if staying in Kona. We will definitely be back!

Worn out and outdated.

The condo has an amazing view and the location near the pool and bbq was convenient. The condo itself is outdated and the furniture is atrocious. The beds are easily 20 years old. The two twin beds are hard as rocks. There was black mold in the hallway shower when we arrived and the toaster almost caught on fire the first morning we were there. Clearly it was filthy and smoked up the whole condo. It was stinky for hours in there even with the doors open. Previous guest must have tried to cook shrimp in it or something. LolWe love the area and the complex just not the condo itself. Needs upgrades bad. Couch should have been sent to landfill 20 years ago it's that bad.

Nice family friendly accommodation

We were very happy with this accommodation. We have stayed in Kona many times and this was in our top 10. The unit was very spacious, had good ocean views for sunsets, and overlooked the pool. The complex was nicely manicured and the staff were friendly. The host was prompt in responding to any questions that came up. This place was well stocked with essentials as well as beach gear, chairs, cooker, snorkel equipment etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!!

Beautiful home and incredibly clean. The location is perfect. The home was much larger than expected so our family of five (2 adults and 3 under 5) had more than enough space. The location to the pool and beach area were a huge plus. The property manager was super helpful and responsive. Everything was excellent and I highly recommend.

Great location

Would possibly stay again just due to the location! Great area and away from the crowds of Ali’i drive yet close enough when we wanted to go get dinner, etc. Condo is desperately in need of some upgrades, decor and furniture is very dated and falling apart. Couch creaked so bad when we sat on it I thought it was going to break. Patio furniture also has seen much better days. Beds were very old, uncomfortable mattresses so didn’t get great sleep. Selling points are location and the view is beautiful to wake up to. Was clean enough, but as with many vrbo’s, paying a large cleaning fee and still expecting renters to do dishes, start laundry, strip beds and take trash out before we leave is questionable.

Wonderful location and views

Very clean and well-maintained property. Host was very accommodating for us when we had to change the dates due to an emergency surgery. Resort is close to many restaurants. Unfortunately, the ocean pool outside the unit was down for maintenance and the upstairs was being renovated so it was a little noisy from both projects but that is outside the host's control. We definitely appreciated having A/C as it was quite warm & humid while we were there - well worth paying extra for. Would seriously consider renting again in the future.

Great Condo at Kanaloa

The condo location is perfect for us, right by the Ocean Pool. The unit was very well equipped with good kitchen equipment, including blender and coffee grinder and lots of silverware. And they had quite a number of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. Great trip!

Excellent location!

This condo was perfect for our family of four during our first visit to the Big Island! It is well stocked and equipped with everything needed in the kitchen as well as beach towels, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The ocean pool, one of three on the property is steps away. We particularly enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai while listening to the waves crash against the shore, and daily sunsets on the lanai were breathtaking.

Perfect spot for vacation

This condo was awesome. Loved being able to hear and see the ocean from the patio. Being right by the pool was the best part according to our 9 year old. We could take a quick swim at the end of our day. We watched the sun set every night from right off the pool deck. The condo had everything we needed for the week. There was a few condiments in the fridge, so check that before you go to the store. The shopping center right up the road was perfect for groceries, take out and anything we needed. We will definitely keep this one in mind for our next trip.

Great location, would stay again, had everything we needed

We stay here over Christmas 2021 and New Year's 2022, four adults and one kid. The location is great. It's overlooking the pool and ocean. Inside the condo is clean and had everything we needed. Even had beach chairs and a small cooler. There is also fins and snorkels, but we brought our own. The beds are comfy and there's plenty of room for all of us. Our 8yo slept on the couch and he was very comfortable too. We all really like the condo complex. We play tennis as well. It's walking distance to Keauhou Bay like to swim you can swim there. Snorkeling there is best in the morning. You can also walk to outrigger for breakfast. Also walk to the supermarket. Also close to the golf club which we played around. Great location and amenities. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Joe and Yoshihiro for a wonderful stay.

Spacious Condo with Wonderful Location

Family and friends enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the best pool in the complex and beautiful ocean views really made our stay special. The master bath was very large with whirlpool tub and huge shower. Great water pressure for showers after a day enjoying the pool and hot tub.

Absolutely amazing.

Everything is perfect for us. We weren’t looking for a place to stay that is close by the beach. So, this is a perfect stay for us. Beautiful patio and amazing view!! Perfect swim area with amazing view of the ocean! Condo is clean, neat and so close to amenities along with shopping center and convenient store! Secure location with security gate in and out. I couldn’t ask for more!! Thank you.

Great condo in a great spot

We took quite a while to search and find the right place for our second stay on the big island and we think we found a beauty. Last time here we stayed in a resort further up north which was nice but here we felt that it was “our place”. Waking up to a great view of the ocean with whales swimming by was awesome, I’m watching some as I write this! We went swimming with the manta rays, played golf at Kona Country club right next door and downtown is a short drive away. Comfy beds, nice and quiet, well stocked kitchen and laundry appliances we wouldn’t hesitate to come back, thank you 😊 Mike and Jenny, Sydney.
