The accommodation is a bit old-fashioned and furnished in a rustic style with older furniture. The rooms, common areas and the shared bathroom were clean. A supermarket, the beach, and the city center can be reached in about 10 minutes. Overall, the stay was fine for one night.

The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are amazing and are included in the price of your stay!! I also really liked the outdoor eating areas and the communal kitchen and lounge areas were lovely to chill with new friends. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and had a lot of local information. It was great to have a kitchen, which had everything you need, to make your own food. Very cheap accommodation, really good value for money - I would highly recommend this hotel/hostel.

Friendly team and great facilities. We look forward to coming back when the weather is warmer and the cafe and pool are open. Kaikoura is very popular and this was the only room at a sensible price. En suite family room with use of communal kitchen. Nice and quiet with view of mountains for breakfast
