Friendly host. Nice quiet location. Pretty garden and wonderful view of mountains. Very good Continental breakfast.

Quiet and away from town. Very good bed & shower. Great guest lounge & kitchen, good for cooking for ourselves in the evening. Nice community breakfast with ither guests.

Enjoyed the kitchen/dining / lounge situation . Also the lovely calm environment. Very country but so close to town. Would have liked a more varied breakfast even if I had to pay extra.

The cottage was perfect for our family holiday over New Years in Kaikoura - great location (very quiet but close to town), large lawn for games, spa pool, and a nicely stocked kitchen on arrival (milk, eggs, bacon, juice, etc). The games tucked under the staircase were a special treat.
