Lovely lodge seating available indoor and outdoor. The happy hour charcuterie was delightful! We stayed in "Jonathan." Know that you will hear the people next to you with thin walls as it's sandwiched between Sweet Bough and Cortland. Our Champagne was not present at arrival, but they brought! And the breakfast basket, arrived 30 minutes beyond the time we requested. It was great though! The bathroom was clean, yet the door needed oiled (very squeaky) and the light above bath tub was not working. No fan extractor, so open the window which could be tough on a cold day. They provide you boxes of incidentals, but no shower cap. The high windows are lovely to look at, just realize the sun will wake you up at sunrise if you're a light sleeper. A couple of water bottles would have been a nice added touch. Otherwise you are drinking from the sink. The three large bottle bath products on tub ledge are covered by bathe tub curtain liner. It was cumbersome to pump as you tried to get to the pump. The bath bottles are too big to place anywhere in the tub area. The water pressure was fantastic yet know that the water in sink and tub will scald if not careful. Amazed they didn't have a temp regulator for that. Our room was clean, other than some detailed dusting that I took notice. The bed & pillows were very comfortable and robes were cozy. A mini dish soap would have been a nice addition to rinse out and reuse glasses. We'll return and just choose another room!

Very cute, boutique hotel with large property. There is a main lodge and several casita's. We stayed in the main lodge, it's very nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed, beds are comfortable and staff were very friendly.

No assigned parking. There is not a restaurant on hotel premises. Could hear noise from neighboring rooms. Trouble receiving extra towels. One key provided to enter hotel room. Restroom vent didn’t work properly. Broken shutters near bed/sleeping area. Could not properly see TV from bed. No Microwave to warm food. Trouble opening door, old door knobs. Over all, hotel stay not worth the price paid.

1- The Hotels.com site did not show that our Lodge room 7 was on the second floor with no elevator (I am disabled and use a walker), nor that no dogs were allowed there. But the hotel staff was very accommodating to allow our dog as an exception, even though we had to use atairs. 2 - The room was lovely, but only had 1 chair which was not comfortable. Our suggestion is to put in one comfortable chair, or two small comfortable chairs, so guests can sit and read or watch TV. 3 - The bathroom could use a towel bar, especially by the sink. 4 - The windows in the upstairs lounge / game room were very dirty. 5 - It would be nice to have one parking space for each Lodge room thst would be located outside the Lodge entrance and not down the hill by the trash bins and staff parking. 6 - We understand there was limited staff on Thanksgiving day, but we wish the main lodge room fireplace was lit longer in the afternoons and evenings of our 4 night stay, as it was a great place to sit and visit or read, but lost its ambience due to no fire. 7 - The main Lodge room was lovely and nicely decorated for the hoiidays. 8 - We appreciate the kind and friendly attention and supoort we received from all of the hotel staff. They were very helpful.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly; however the tv didn’t work for most of our stay, there was poor lighting for reading in bed, the fireplace didn’t work with the remote even after staff came to our cottage to fix it and the toilet ‘ran’ no matter how much we jiggled itt. Just as a heads-up, there are no microwave ovens in the cottages so don’t plan on warming up your Julian pie. On the flip side, this is our third stay here and the first time that it’s been…unsatisfactory. It is, I understand, under new ownership so maybe they’re still figuring things out. Also, I really missed the Wellness Shot that used to be at the front desk. Happy holidays!
