Legacy Hotels and Resorts - accommodation in Johannesburg

Weeks before our trip I chatted with someone online and then proceeded to call the front desk of the property to find out if there was self-laundry (something very important to us since we were coming in the afternoon, after 2 weeks traveling and leaving the next day for a 4 day safari). I checked and double checked and was even given hours that it operated and how to pay for it. We arrived and were told there was no such thing and they couldn’t do it for us before we left. Ended up having the safari hotel do it for us for quite a large cost that we weren’t expecting. We returned to the same hotel for the remainder of our stay and when checkinf in, were told that breakfast was not included even though my reservations clearly showed it. I brought up my reservations in my room and called down to desk. Was told they would check on it and would call back. No call back. Next morning I showed the front desk but the guy disapperead and said he had to check. Our ride was there and so we had to leave. Finally that evening we stopped by the desk and they said oh yes breakfast is included. There was obviously some miscommunication at the front desk.

We always enjoy our stay at the City Lodge in the Joburg airport! Convenient, clean, and comfortable!

Easy access from the airport with frequent, convenient airport shuttles. Great breakfast selection and friendly bar/lounge.
