Enjoyed my stay at Meadowlands Plaza Hotel… The hotel staff / restaurant staff / front desk / and Hotel Shuttle Driver were awesome! Breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the nearby walkable restaurants with urgent care was a huge plus!

The toilet broke in our room and they sent someone up 3 times. It wasn't fixed. We ended up speaking to a manger. No one was rude. BUT the manger didn't seem to believe we know how to flush a toilet. He told us someone from maintenance was complaining about us, essentially. Said we just needed to push harder. The second time the guy came up, the handle was literally sideways. So, I think we pushed it hard enough. I liked the location, the staff was not rude.The transportation to the venue was great. The driver was the manger we ended up speaking to. He told us the best he could do was give us 15% back but we would have to talk to Expedia. To me, a toilet is not an amenity. It's a necessity. Having to go to the lobby to use a restroom is crazy. We weren't trying to hustle them. We stayed there because we had a show in a few hours and we wouldn't be home until late. So we figured maybe for one night. I just feel like we got brushed off and treated like we didn't know how to flush a toilet or we were trying to pull a fast one. If the manger didn't believe us, he could have just gone upstairs to check.

Great place

Pleasantly surprised with my stay. Everything was great from check in to check out. Room was very clean and comfortable, I slept great! Nice sit down breakfast in the morning and I nice bonus I wasnt aware of at booking, is they have a shuttle! So we didn't have to pay for Ubers to and from the concert! Very happy with my choice to stay here
