The room was fine except the thermostat would NOT go down when we wanted it to. It was permanently on 70 degrees, which was fine during the day but TOO HOT at night. Not a big deal, but no paper & pen or any info on the hotel or surrounding area in the room.

Booked the room - even paid extra for the “king suite” advertised with pictures of a whirlpool tub in the room! I couldn’t wait to surprise my husband on our 15th anniversary since it was the same kind of room we stayed in for our “honeymoon”. When I checked in and went to the room there was no whirlpool. I was told sorry but those pictures have not been updated on the website we have no rooms with whirlpools. But yet I paid EXTRA for that specific reason! Felt like i should have been refunded since my whole surprise was ruined!

Must have raised seats for the toilet in the accessible rooms. The bars are helpful but you must have a raised seat for the accessible rooms and handicap bathrooms. The regular toilets are too low for a person with mobility issues.

Excellent. It’s very clean, and the staff is wonderful. Only a couple of miles to the fountain and little shops in downtown Marshall. If they would add a nice sitting area would make it perfect. Right now there is just a picnic table under some trees with lots of bugs.

American Run Hampton in Marshall MI

It's very nice to visit an American run hotel in the US, and not walk in to some foreigner running the show with shotty A/C, no lights on, smelly and not of this world in a million years.
