Affordable Downtown Location

This is a budget hotel I use when staying in “downtown” Ithaca. For me, it’s walking distance to the State Theater and very affordable.

Decent, friendly hotel. We slept very well in the quiet rooms. The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned when we arrived, and the continental breakfast was all carbohydrates. Staff were helpful. I would probably still stay again for the value.

The room was ok - basically comfortable and acceptably clean. However the room and hallway had a strong unpleasant odor - we kept our window open and fan running for fresh air, and the traffic outside was noisy. The staff was very friendly and considerate. We felt safe and slept fine.

Wouldn't go back.

We were just staying on our way home from New York. It was the half way point for us. We got there late and it was very hard to find. No issues with check in. Room wasn't very clean and the furniture and bedding was pretty old. I actually looked for bed bugs. Didn't find any! Our shower temperature wouldn't change from piping hot. Continental breakfast was iffy.

All of the staff were friendly to us at first. They were willing to work with us and lower our rate since we lost our housing due to a fire.. However, we were kicked outbover an assumption the housekeeping manager had made over their microwave overheating and tripping the power in our room. We feel very very upset over the speculation made and disgusted by what the assumption aas.

Room was very large and clean and the property is very close to a large variety of eateries and shopping. We were in town for a swim competition at Ithaca college, so the location was very convenient.
