The hotel was lovely as was the service and breakfast and location. It’s a busy popular area so it was a little noisy in the room at night, but no fault to the hotel of course. Would stay here again :)

Hospitality was phenomenal, we were thinking of taxi from hotel to Port, but instead, one of the hotel staff carried our luggage and escorted us by foot to the port, saving us time and money. This is above and beyond any expectation, and it shows kindness of this place.

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. One staff member even walked with me to find a restaurant with vegan options. I really appreciated their hospitality. The breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. The cook even stopped by my table to make sure everything was ok with the food I was really glad for the salad and fresh fruit. My room was very clean. However, because the hotel is located right in the middle of a very active tourist area with many restaurants, bars and cafes, it was very loud at night. I could hear the music from outside on the street until 2am. I could smell cigarette smoke maybe from the first floor or maybe from the exhaust system. I could not sleep. I covered my nose with the sheet to block the smoke. I wish I had some ear plugs. If you don’t mind the smell of cigarette smoke, bring some ear plugs to block the street noise and this would be a good choice for a hotel.

I think of NABU as my home in Istanbul. The area is lively and so convenient to everyplace I want to go. I won’t try to mention all the staff name as I am uncertain of spelling but they are all great!

Our experience at Nabu was great, located in a perfect area to see the Galata Tower, the port promenade and much more on foot, a quiet area but with enough great places to dine and more. Totally recommended.

The staff were nice but I stayed on a Saturday and I did not sleep at all due to the loud music outside this lasted at least until 3am so I don’t recommend it if you’re trying to sleep. I called reception twice about the noise but nothing not even sorry….
