The property itself was wonderful. Unfortunately, our sleep quality was affected by the air conditioning, which wasn’t functioning properly and failed to cool the room. Despite the reception team’s kind gesture of providing two desk fans, the room remained uncomfortably warm and humid throughout the night.

Comfortable hotel in a good location. The room was spacious and the bed was huge! We stayed one night to be close to the Eurotunnel. We would definitely stay again if travelling by Eurotunnel.

Good but .....

We enjoyed our 2 night stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant on our second night. The food was quite good but the service was shambolic. We apparently became invisible for stretches of time. I realise there are problems with such an open space, but the cleaning up and relaying of tables for the next day were off putting while we ate.

Anniversary weekend

Had a lovely stay and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was big and spacious with sofa and chairs. Pillows were too soft: TV too small for the size of the room. Body wash dispenser in shower was really fiddly. Not easy to get soap out and challenging to get enough soap to shower and wash hair. Had lovely meal in Coast restaurant on the Saturday night. Disappointing that we had to ask for our free glass of bubbly we were promised when booking. We were given a bottle of water as soon as we sat down but were not told that we had to pay for it. Would have liked staff to offer tap water and not presume. Had afternoon day on our last day which was lovely. Thank you to the staff who changed our sandwiches to make them plain, Also big shoutout to Lola who worked tirelessly all weekend but always had a smile on her face and did anything she could to help. Will definitely come back but maybe not eat in the restaurant

Cannot fault the room which was modern, well equipped and tidy. However the hotel thinks it is a 5 star and it is far from that. Checking in, the member of staff seemed bored and not friendly. The bar area was filthy. Cobwebs on the lights, dust across pictures and lights hanging on walls. The carpet was disgusting and the seats had marks all over them. There was even old scuffed cupboards next to the bar which just gave the place an unkempt, tired appearance. Likewise, choices in the bar were poor. After spending £14 on a Guiness and a coke, we decided to walk into the town and get a meal and more drinks in a very nice pub.

One night in the Imperial Hythe what a fantastic place pity it was only 1 night Lovely sea view room which was pretty big as was the bed, really comfortable. The restaurant was superb as were the staff the food delicious.
