Lovely graduation stay

At ibis for sons PhD graduation had stayed here previously for visits. Ideal place for graduation as ceremony hall literally two mins walk away. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Yes does need some tlc and a refresh But clean and cheap and perfect for a night or two.

Great location, near the train station and city centre. Reception area looks great. Has a desk and chair. No bin in the bedroom though, for some reason. Replace that horrible looking brown carpet with a dark navy carpet. The room price display outside doesn't work. The glass next to the main door is really scratched - Replace with some nice graphics.

Reasonable place to stay for the price. Room was quite outdated but appreciated the kettle and coffee in the room. not sure if pets were allowed but I could smell like there was a damp dog in that room probably from previous guests.

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable

Clean and comfortable. As usual with all places, more teabags and milk required! A waste bin in the bedroom as well as bathroom would be helpful as well. We had some noise around 2:30am from drunk residents, but nothing too much. This, obviously, wasn't't the fault of the hotel.
