Clean and quiet. It would be nice if they replaced the carpets in the room with tile or wood but the hotel, while older, is cozy and quaint. Not fancy but better than many Ann Arbor options at that same price.

The staff were really terrific, but the rooms are very small and the beds not very comfortable. Great valet parking service. Very quick and efficient with in and out privileges. Very good location if you are needing to be close to UofM Central Campus.

The hotel did not have any hot water. Showers were in the freezing cold water. Fitness room was weak at best. It was in a glorified closest and the elliptical machine was missing the cord so would not even turn on.

There was no consistent hot water during my entire stay. The shower would run warm for about a minute and then turn cold. My son and I had to take cold showers for two days. When I contacted hotel staff, I was told there was nothing they could do. Lack of hot water and the dismissive response from staff made our stay very disappointing. especially during icy storm winter in Michigan.

We love The Bell Tower Hotel. Great location for anything at UofM. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby feels like I’m visiting my well-coifed, classy grandmother’s home - complete with delicious fresh baked cookies. The hotel is neat, clean, and very quiet. Absolutely a gem in Ann Arbor!

Nice people. Nice room. Management needs to invest in a new hot water heater though. First morning, 10 degrees outside, no hot water for the shower. Second morning, had to let shower run for 35 minutes before it got warm.
