Family getaway

The lay-out was perfect for our gathering of in-town and out-of-town family. The first floor was open and spacious and wheelchair accessible. The house does not sleep 12. There were beds for 8. One room did not have any furniture. The kitchen was not outfitted for a large group (only 4 coffee cups, for example). In cupboards upstairs we found previous renters' trash (airline luggage tags, etc). Mail had not been picked up in several weeks, which suggests there's not much oversight. The outdoor patio was a big draw for us, but the table was filthy and couldn't be used without a lot of scrubbing. The third floor air conditioning did not work for the first two days despite multiple exchanges with owner; a simple solution was eventually found, but we were two days in. The door handle to one of the bedrooms fell off repeatedly. To summarize, there's tremendous potential here, and these lapses did not get in the way of a wonderful family time, but the property doesn't appear to get much attention.

Great location and property.

The townhouse itself is awesome. Only 2 "complaints" that did not affect our stay. The carpet needs serious replacement, and the back courtyard needs a lawn maintenance crew to visit .. Otherwise, it was everything and more than we expected....Thanks.
