RUDE HOST, ANT INFECTED, UNKEPT PROPERTY
I booked this home for my family this weekend which includes my husband , niece, nephew and children. The reason I booked Vrbo was because of the pictures! However, upon arrival was a different story!
We recently stayed at a property hosted by Dennis, and our experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the house was not well-maintained. There were ants everywhere, including coming out of the outlets, and spider webs with live spiders around the doors and inside the home. The bathroom floors were filthy, and the overall cleanliness was far below acceptable standards.
Supposedly a “2 car garage” yet one of our vehicles had to park on the street OUTSIDE of the “gated community” please keep in mind the gate was broken and opened the entire time.
The TV remote in daughter room had no batteries. (Talk about maintenance)
When we contacted Dennis to report these issues, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing our concerns, he called us liars, despite us having clear photo and video evidence of the problems. Dennis's disrespectful and entitled attitude made an already unpleasant stay even worse. He told us to kill the ants and wipe them off. There were a MOUNTAIN OF ANTS!!
We strongly advise anyone considering a stay with Dennis to think twice. Our experience was far from what we expected and left us deeply unsatisfied.
Beware staying with a host like DENNIS!!
