I took a star away simply because for a luxury hotel that charges destination fees per stay I shouldnt have to ask for a microwave or mini refrigerator. It was easy to get the mini refrigerator due to a young staff helping me at the desk. The microwave on the other hand the next day was hard to get due to the front desk older staff not even attempting to help me find one and telling me the hotel had absolutely no microwaves. It took someone not working the front desk to find someone to bring me a microwave to my room. May not be important to others, but for me it is when I book at a hotel. Besides that everything else was great. The breakfast, the bar and grill, the hotel room, the shower, the partnership Laura hotel has with Lifetime Fitness gym, the beautiful design of the building and how its connected to other business/restaurants is definitely a good enough reason to book it.

Just disappointed. Cleaning crew did not come once to straighten up the room during entire duration of stay ( 2 Days ) no mini fridge in the room, & the valet was super slow when it was not busy and they had fully staff on site. We inquired about a car service to help with us “ Getting Around “ and did not hear back. I would not revisit.

You are required to buy an extra $25 convenience pass. It gives you access to the gym and $13 voucher to the restaurant. We weren’t there long enough to use the voucher so we didn’t want to pay, but it’s not optional, just a classy money grab gimmick for such a fancy hotel.. The hotel itself and staff and location are wonderful.

So first off valet parking is too high. $75 to valet park. We opted out of valet parking and parked on street but the valet company still charged my card for valet parking. I was told secuirty hold was $150 but it was really $200.Also some of the light bulbs in our room were out. I informed front desl but they never cjanged it. They only gave us 1 wasg cloth for two people. Breakfaat was over rated and exoensive..

The Laura is a great hotel. The amenities, restaurants and bar are top notch. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the services offered by the hotel and offered great suggestions for nearby restaurants and entertainment. I enjoyed my stay. No complaints.
