The room was very clean and the hosts were very friendly. I did not like that our room did not have a window it felt kind of like being in a cell it was small but again very clean and I would stay again. I am not fond of Hill City there is not much to do here but it is close to area attractions. Nothing to do at night.

We spent two nights at the Lantern Inn and loved every minute! With the pool and the availability of a charcoal grill, we made dinner in the yard there while the kiddos enjoyed swimming. Staff was wonderful!

The inn was conveniently located and reasonably priced as compared to similar properties in that local. The room was clean and quiet, however if you’re looking for a luxury, full service resort, look elsewhere.
