Location, Cost, Clean, Quiet, Friendly. 5 Stars

Escape Inn Hershey is about 7 mins from the Hershey parking lot and Troegs Brewery. We stayed on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were soft. The shower had adequate water pressure for long hair. This is a basic budget hotel, there is no coffee in the room or in the lobby but it is only a few minutes from at least 2 breakfast places. We enjoyed talking to the staff they were very friendly. Escape Inn Hershey exceeded my expectations.

The staff was amazing and helpful. We were traveling with family and they noticed our last names were the same so they had made sure to put our rooms next to each other. The rooms were clean and cooled down just waiting for us to come back from spending a HOT day at Herhsey park.

The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable. However, the problem is our door had a huge gap between the door and the frame. You could look outside. The door did not close all the way. I did not feel secure. Bugs would crawl through the huge gaps. The bottom of the door was all bent up on the threshold also. It was only one night so we dealt with it. There are huge lights outside that attract the bugs. The hallways are filthy with cigarette butts every where and garbage laying around the bottom stair wells. There is a dumpster that smells and smells like garbage outside. We only stayed for a night to get some sleep and out of town.

A decent "motel" experience; we were going to Hershey Park for the days so didn't spend time there basically except to sleep. The one issue was that one night we hadn't had service in the room during the day so we had to get towels from the desk. That was annoying.

Absolutely dirty

Floors were nasty dirty. Like never seen anything like it. Hair in shower. Hair on towel. Stained pillows. There's tons of cleaner places to stay ...not here.
