Great B&B with an excellent host

A great B&B with an excellent host. Although the property is undergoing renovation this doesn’t distract from the quality or service provided. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely.

Home away from home

Brilliant Bed and Breakfast with everything you could need. Look out for the trees either side of the front door which makes the B&B very easy to spot even if arriving late. I was walking and they were very helpful about my uncertain arrival time. I was able to have a lovely bath when I arrived. The bathroom and bedroom had everything you would need. The standard and decoration was so well thought out and very tasteful. Clean and comfortable home away from home. Breakfast was cooked to order in the morning and I had tasty muesli, fresh fruit yogurt and a vegetarian breakfast. Book The Gables you won’t regret it.

Linda and Richard were so friendly welcoming and accommodating. They made me feel at home straight away. The breakfast was arguably the best I’ve ever had fresh fruit and quality ingredients and very generous portions. I would definitely stay there again if I’m in the area

Welcoming and friendly B&B stay

We had a wonderful stay at The Gables. Linda and Richard were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The B&B is lovely and the room was clean, bright and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Linda kindly accommodated a request for a very early breakfast which we really appreciated. Would stay again and strongly recommend you stay here.

Restful night with hearty breakfast.

The hospitality was amazing, the breakfast was cooked to please with delicious vegan options, and the garden views from the breakfast table were really lovely.

I had a lovely stay with Linda and Richard. They were extremely welcoming and happy to help in any way. The room was very comfy and there was lots on offer for breakfast. Would highly recommend and I'm sure I'll be staying there again.

Friendly family feel

A warm welcome on arrival at this extended family home. Relaxed, friendly environment, Comfortable bed in a cozy bedroom. Clean shared bathroom. Attention to detail throughout. Good breakfast. Quiet area and easy parking. Good pub food approx. 1km away down the hill. Convenient for Henley town centre. I shall stay again.

Great place to stay

This was a great B and B to stay at. The breakfast was really good. Just to let you know that their was no TV In the room, it didn't bother us but could be a problem to others.

A short break in Henley-On-Thames

At short notice we decided to spend a few days in Henley and booked the Gables B and B as a base. Our bedroom was very comfortable and decorated in a traditional style with a contemporary feel. There was a very varied selection for breakfast, with good quality produce on offer and freshly baked bread. Hosts Linda, Richard and their Spaniel Tilly made us both feel very relaxed and welcome.
