The Clarion Pointe-Dillard Hotel has been the go-to hotel for my family when we visit the area. The hotel is near Black Rock Mountain State Park, at which we enjoy beautiful hikes when we visit. The town of Clayton is close by, in case you close need to do some grocery shopping or experience the conveniences of a larger town.

Rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating whenever I had questions or needed help. Price has always been great and, compared to other options in the area, this place is by far the best bang for your buck. This place is tired and in desperate need of remodeling. Even our shower curtain and blanket were torn. Paint peeling off the walls everywhere. Pool was closed. Breakfast was boiled eggs and stale muffins. However, the staff was wonderful. The shower was hot and had great pressure. The beds were comfy. It was clean and didn’t give the total ick. We practically had the entire place to ourselves. Not sure if that should’ve been a red flag or not. It served its purpose for us for the most part. The location and price were right.
