Our room was nice and it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Negatives: the ice machine on our floor was out of order so we made the trek to another floor. Although the property was splendid, we thought a complimentary robe would be appropriate when the name includes “resort & spa.” We only stayed one night and our interaction with staff was limited. We were not treated poorly, but we also were not greeted with smiles and enthusiasm. Our primary contact was checking into the resort and dining. On checking in, we arrived early however our room was ready, which was a bonus. No one asked us if we had stayed there before, which we had not. This would have made our trip more pleasurable with less wandering around. The process for being seated for dinner was quite lengthy. We were on time for our reservation, but the hostess worked alone and had to walk all the way into the restaurant to see if our table was available. She did the same thing for the couple in line before us, then walked back and escorted them to their table. By the time she did this with us, there was a line extending into the lobby. Again, nothing terribly wrong, but nothing special either. For the price, we had hoped for more.

The room was clean and the amenities were good, the staff was not friendly. When we got there we felt unwelcomed, the front desk staff didn't inform us of anything related to the hotel services, told us to read the paper and sign. The diningroom staff was slow, at breakfast had to wait until someone showed up (it was empty). We learned that it was buffet style when we asked for the menu. Buffet was not that good. The only friendly perso was Eugene the bellman. This was our second stay there and it's going to be our last.

Beautiful location. Our room needed a refresh and a deep cleaning. Loads of dust in the vents and the tub and surround was very old. The hot tub was also closed.

My wife stayed at this property many times over the years. This time was probably a mistake. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and she desired the North Georgia Mountains. The first night after dinner we decided to have a cocktail. I waited 20 minutes in line at the lobby bar only to have a party of 3 to show up and immediately get their drink orders at the dismay of others standing in line. The rooms were not maintained and engineering was requested to clear out the drain in the shower of hair so water would drain. The surround around the shower was coming apart and the sink faucet handle and toilet were loose. We asked several times to have the fireplace lit and waited over an hour the first night before retiring, it was not lit that night. The second night took several requests for Adirondack logs before they finally added wood to the fire. The fire place is the focal point of the main room. Finally the room service left a note they ran out of towels and would return later to replinish the room. They never returned. Such a shame given the level and service and care for the property in the past.

We always enjoy staying at the Brasstown Valley Resort. The accommodations are very comfortable and the staff is courteous. Special shout out to their great bartender, Brian, in Brassies lounge.

Very dated rooms and common area . Sheets were new but very rough and scratchy . This could easily be a 4 star resort if they update and I would gladly pay more for such a beautiful area . Staff is amazing and so friendly they are the best part besides the golf course .
