Sorry to hear you were cold. We have removed all electric blankets from our property following an incident of misuse when a bed was badly scorched. We will not risk people's lives knowing that some cannot be trusted to turn the blankets off before getting into bed. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay apart from that.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the can opener was missing from your Apartment, we do wish you had mentioned it during your stay as we do provide can openers and were not aware that yours was missing. This has now been rectified for the benefit of future guests so thank you for bringing it to our attention. We are not sure what information you needed about our Motel, we have found room compendiums impossible to keep up to date with the ever-changing restaurants, bars, tours etc. available in Paihia and we are available to answer any questions throughout the day, most days we do not close our office until we go to bed so we are always available if needed and very happy to share our local knowledge with our guests if asked.

How very disappointing to receive such a lukewarm review when we had gone to so much trouble to accommodate your request for the twin bedroom to be rearranged and the beds made up as a King size bed. This involved the purchase of a special strap to hold the beds together, moving some heavy furniture during the busiest week of the season (which is why the room rates were so high at the time of your stay) and moving it back again after your 2 night stay with not so much as an acknowledgement of our hard work on your behalf, much less any thanks. After this lack of appreciation for our efforts we shall not be rearranging our rooms in future. Our wifi is free and unlimited for our guests even though their old devices often slow the connection down for us and other guests. Until the fibre cables are available in our area we cannot offer a higher speed or better connection. We are glad you enjoyed the views and that you found us welcoming, we would have been happy to discuss any problems you had with your accommodation during your stay.
