Good location, room tired, poor lighting, room clean but broken window in bathroom and water marks on ceiling, possibly ftom roof leak, on 2nd night strong smell of weed on 3rd floor, on check out was a resident housed by council for 10days, 1st night smoking weed in room, was evicted but should not of happened

Traditional hotel in a very convenient location. Staff extremely helpful. Went out of their way to be accommodating. The only downside was, our room was exceptionally hot. We could not turn off the radiator so staff gave us a fan to cool the room overnight. They did offer to change our room but we had already unpacked. I also think some nicer complimentary toiletries would be a nice touch. Tee, coffee, water all provided in the room.

The room was quite basic. Shower was scorching hot even with the cold. Disappointing effort on Christmas decorations. Hotel is looking very tired which is such a shame as is a lovely hotel in such a lovely location.
