Our 150 m2 villa + private garden not overlooked and private heated pool meets the most demanding standards.
We strive to provide a set of quality services that will allow you to appreciate the many facets of our Island while being here as at home!
Located in the exclusive private complex built 7 years ago, the Domaine des Villas Athéna. Our villa, number 1 has all modern comforts in the tropics.
It consists of an 'inside - outside' living area with fully equipped American kitchen, dining room, indoor lounge, outdoor lounge and its BBQ.
The master suite is equipped with a Queen size bed with its bathroom, indoor-outdoor shower overlooking the garden, separate WC. 2 comfortable double bedrooms share the second bathroom.
All our furniture is in solid teak ... Canal + satellite channels, video library, free quality WiFi (rare optical fiber in Mauritius).
Gym equipped for the more athletic shared with the other villas of the Estate.
The rigorously selected and trained house staff are at your service in the morning (7 days a week) and prepare a continental breakfast daily (included).
You will also enjoy a mythical beach with free access: Trou aux Biches. 10 minutes by road, voted the most beautiful beach on the planet in 2013 (Lonely Planet), you are welcomed in exclusive conditions of the Private Beach Club 'la Plage'. By renting the villa you have unlimited free access. On site, quality bar service and catering at low prices, water sports, massages on the beach, swimming pool etc.
Tip: book the VIP area ... in the evening you can have your table set feet in the water directly on the beach, facing the ocean under the stars ...
A private mini-bus shuttle is also available several times a day to access La Plage ', the Super U shopping center, La Croisette and activities in Grand Baie.
For more comfort we recommend you to rent a small car (~ 30 € / d or scooter (~ 12 €) ... we can pre-book for you in advance; car and formalities directly in the villa.

i am still at athena villa #1 writing the post, i am here for a week and its just awesome!!!!!!! we have our private heated pool and a very beautiful and well equipped villa. the service is perfect and the housekeeping personal are very nice. I will be definety coming back. this is the best in mauriitius! don't miss the private beach club at night, just a dream :)

A Fantastic Experience

This is a fantastic venue to stay at in Mauritius. It is very central to everything you need. Amarita is absolutely fantastic and went out of her way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Phil also arranged an amazing Anniversary dinner for us at La Plage Beach Club, where they made us a bespoke meal to accommodate our dietary requirements. It was the perfect setting for the celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting Grand Baie! Really worthwhile. Thank you Phil for your attentiveness to our needs, greatly appreciated.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à la villa tout était parfait et correspondait bien à l'annonce. La villa est vraiment tout confort et très agréable, surtout la terrasse au bord de la piscine. Amrita et toute l'équipe Athéna sont très performants, outre la gentillesse de ces personnes le ménage est fait tous les jours de façon irréprochable et le petit déjeuner servi tous les matins par Amrita est au top. Certes, il y a eu un petit soucis "à l'allumage" (liée à priori à Evaco) mais à part , tout a été quasi parfait. La villa est très propre (merci à Amarita pour ses services), sa situation en dehors mais à grande proximité de Grand Baie permet de conjuguer calme et praticité. Certes le jardin est clos par de hauts murs , mais cela garantit aucun vis à vis lors de l'utilisation de la piscine. La literie est d'excellente qualité => des nuits excellentes garanties. Nous n'avons hélas pas pu profiter du chauffage de la piscine, à ,priori indisponible => cela aurait rendu le séjour parfait, l'eau étant encore un peu fraîche pour un baignade sans soleil. Seul point négatif à porter au crédit d'ABRITEL : impossible de communiquer correctement avec le propriétaire via la messagerie du site( emmettant un message d'erreur à quasi chaque envoi de message ... grrrr) Nous conseillons cette location qui à part cela nous a tout à fait plu !!

Villa conforme aux photos, bonne literie, c est important ! merci à Amrita qui s occupait de l entretien de la villa : souriante, efficace, discrète ! Piscine très agréable au retour des balades ! Une voiture est sans doute necessaire puisque la villa est un peu loin du centre de Grand Baie, nous avons dû utiliser taxis et navette, nous n avions pas loué de voiture.

Nous avons adoré l'Ile Maurice et la villa. L'accueil très chaleureux et gentillesse du personnel malgré une arrivée tardive ont été de vrais plus. Confort du logement, literie de qualité, jardin sans vis à vis, piscine privée et chauffée à notre demande et plage privé avec un cadre idyllique. Propreté du logement et sa tranquillité.

LE PARADIS SUR TERRE EXISTE

Nous avons, ma famille et moi, été accueillis comme des rois par Philippe et sa collaboratrice Soma de Evaco. Il nous a réservé un transfériste à notre arrivée à l'aéroport, il a réservé également une voiture qui nous attendait à la villa, nous n'avions plus qu'à mettre nos tongs et c'est parti ! Tout correspondait à notre demande et à nos attentes. La villa est magnifique, tout est fait pour qu'on le se sente comme à la maison voire mieux. La piscine sans vis à vis est très appréciable. La sécurité est omniprésente. La gentillesse des Mauriciens est sans faille. Il est certain que nous y reviendrons entre amis cette fois pour leur faire découvrir ce que veut dire les mots : LES VRAIS VACANCES :-) Merci encore pour ces magnifiques souvenirs et à très bientôt !!!

This was our second visit at Villa Athena A1 (we went back in August 2013)... - We got a complementary lunch/dinner at the nearby Domaines des Allizee which was simple but fantastic (food quality, service and environment). - Back to the villa...its very quiet and private with its own pool and heated! so we can even go there during winter n still have same fun and at cheaper price since winter is the low season! yayyy! - We were a group of friends celebrating a bday..so we invited a couple of friends for dinner..fully equipped kitchen and a bbq outside..u can make a real feast!! - We stayed in the pool till late with no1 around to ask us to come out like it is at the hotel! - In the morning b.fast is delivered to the villa so wen u r up the table is set n everyfin ready...even tea! No need to wake up early and get ready to go for b.fast as it is the case wen u stayin at the hotel - The villa is cleaned by the personnel daily so again no stress! - U also get access to a private beach and beach restaurant which is also very nice though am not quite for "PRIVATE" beaches. -The only "problem" is that its 5 min drive to the beach and u need to take the private shuttle or have a car to go around ...but not being near the beach doesnt bother me... so...Go go goooo for it! - P.S: Its Great for honeymoons as well ;)

en famille sous les tropiques comme à la maison

séjour des plus réussi dans cette villa qui porte à juste titre le numéro 1 ! photos et description précises, ambiance très cosy, dedans-dehors, sans aucun vis à vis et au calme. Contact initial propriétaire super sympa, Sylvie et Philippe résident à l'Ile Maurice, nous ont partagé leurs bonne adresses, bos plans... sur place gestionnaire des services vraiment très pro. La villa Athena est située dans un ensemble très homogène de villas neuves, certaines habitées à l'année, d'autres louées à court terme, le tout sécurisé avec gardiens. Service quotidien de ménage discret et efficace, la femme de chambre s'occupe également du linge personnel, nettoyage et repassage, et nous emmène nos croissants, jus de fruit chaque matin (nous avons opté pour la formule avec petits déjeuners). Localisation sur le chemin vingt pieds, avec accès direct au centre de grand baie, shopping, Super U très pratique pour les courses ouvert le dimanche. Nous avons loué une voiture pour nos déplacements dans l'Ile très facile et pratique pour 25€/jour... Sinon, depuis la villa, une navette privée gratuite plusieurs fois par jour fait un circuit shopping / resto / plages très pratique pour nos ados... Le Club privé La Plage accessible uniquement aux membres nous a également séduit : ancienne maison pierre de lave restaurée, esprit marin chic, service restauration excellent rapport qualité prix, couleurs lagon remarquables. Un bémol, sur les transat qui sont payants finalement offerts quand nous avons 'discuté' et consommé... Mention spéciale au confort literie -je souffre du dos et là vraiment top- et ensemble déco / prestations / ou rien ne manquait... pas même la connexion wifi indispensable... En formule 3 chambres avec nos 3 ados, un séjour famille 5 étoiles en liberté à budget raisonnable. Nous recommandons et reviendrons !

100% réussi !

Pour une semaine à 2, l'Ile Maurice est déjà 'magique'... nous avons découvert un vrai cocoon, et sa 'fée' bienveillante Manisha aux petits soins dès notre arrivée avec les autres membres du personnel Evaco qui s'occupent de tout. Cocktail de bienvenue, déjeuner offert au Restaurant des Saveurs (auquel nous sommes d'ailleurs retournés 3 fois)... Chaque matin, croissants ou pains au chocolat et excellent thé local. La nuit, la piscine s'éclaire, ainsi que tout le jardin, dégustation sous la varangue des poissons du marché, et eau à 22] (demandez le chauffage pour qques € de +) LE REVE. Enfin, LA plage (à 5 min) est une maison en pierre de lave rénovée, avec son front de mer, ses kiosques, le tout au calme, et entièrement privatif pour les quelques résidents, loin des enfants hurleurs et autres vendeurs à la sauvette, un PRIVILEGE... Pieds dans le sable blanc, verre de rosé, vue lagon et bateaux de pêcheurs multicolores. Si vous recherchez un chez-vous au bout du monde, alors n'hésitez pas. Rapport qualité prestations prix imbattable. Demandez un 'late' check out pour le dernier jour, vol sur Paris à 22:25.

Villa et prestations haut de gamme, je RECOMMANDE

Nous avons séjourné en famille (2 garçons 11 et 13 ans + belle maman) 10 jours à Maurice dans le cadre fabuleux de la Villa Athéna A1 et de ses 'dépendances' A tout point de vue, une réussite. Point fort #1 : tout est comme sur les photos et encore mieux ! Point fort #2 : la villa A1 se trouve à l'entrée du domaine Athéna, sans vis à vis, au calme donc, et possède son propre personnel de maison qui se met en 4 pour nous servir, en toute discrétion Point fort #3 : nous avons loué notre propre voiture mais une navette gratuite privée assure plusieurs fois par jours le transfert vers les centres commerciaux immédiats (4 minutes), et surtout la 'Plage' Privée (à moins de 10 minutes) Point fort # 4 : La plage : à Trou aux Biches, plage et club privé tous services, déjeuner sur la plage, transats, activités etc... à prix très raisonnable : déjeuner pour 35€ à 5 ! Coup de cœur : massages sur la plage, bateau fond de verre et plongée en apné au coin de mire, délicieuse cuisine locale créole... A Grand Baie centre ville, chaque jour, à la sortie de la pêche, poisson frais à cuisiner au BBQ de la villa ... Point fort #5 : les moindres détails sont pris en compte, du cocktail d'arrivée, aux bouquets, service irréprochable et très personnalisé avec ses petites attentions quotidiennes... Les propriétaires habitent Roches Noires à quelques km de Grand Baie et partagent leurs bonnes adresses et bon plans. Une adresse pour nous INCONTOURNABLE dans le Nord de l'Ile
