Lovely staff, clean rooms, located centrally near to malls (2 min walk) restaurants etc. Free wifi in rooms and in all public areas. Only personal issue was that there was very little in the way of vegetarian/vegan food in restaurant and room service but restaurants within a 10min walk. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

We stayed at club room which was same level as club lounge. The view from the lounge was beautiful. The Staffs at the lounge were so friendly. There was a bus terminals just behind the hotel. Which iwas very convenient for tourists.

Great hotel

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, cleanliness of hotel and decor was modern and excellent condition, not run down. Big lobby and fast lifts. Taxi at lobby don't
Excellent hotel, right next door to shopping mall and bus station. Hop on bus a short 2 minute walk away. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Hotel decor excellent and room very comfortable with all the amenities you expect.. Added bonus is a free shuttle bus to their beach resort hotel where you have full use of facilities. Recommend to spend the day there. When you get there go to information to get a card so you can use there changing rooms etc.. You will not be disappointed with this hotel and a great breakfast each day as part of the package.

Cons: improve food it was not worth the money specifically dinner
Location: reasonable lot of history
This hotel is central to many amenities there is free bus service 2 minutes from hotel that takes you around the city sites very convenient , the only down side quality of food as not standard

Nice well located hotel

This was a nice hotel very well located to get around Penang. Staff were very friendly and eager to please. Facilities were good and rooms very clean.

Great location

Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: More choice of satellite to channels, some stationery in rooms
Location: Great location for walking access to Penang food, tourist sites, department stores,man did I mention food?
Very centrally located for Chinatown, Little India, department stores, all walking distance and great food outlets averywhere. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beginning to look a little jaded and certainly do not match the grandeur of the foyer or exterior, but still were clean and comfortable. Maybe 4 star is just a tad over-rated but I would certainly return here.

unauthorised cc charges

The staff are fairly friendly, the the hotel is really run down. The hotel also charged breakfast to my credit card for my entire stay though I clearly said I do not want the breakfast option. Trying to contact them via email is hopeless. I have still no response from them re a refund on the unauthorised charges. This has really annoyed me.
