Is this a lakefront property? No. You get the best of both worlds. The home is set serenely in the woods with an expansive deck and large grassy area for games and a firepit. Lake access is just a short walk away or less than a 1 minute car ride. Your Otsego Lake Oasis is a 50' by 70' private lot that borders both the lake and a canal. There is an additional firepit with 6 camping chairs on the lake lot. Plenty of room to play games, secure boats on the dock, swim on the sandy bottom or just lay in the sun.

Can you park at the lake lot? Yes, either on the road or on the lot.

How is the parking at the house? There is a long circular driveway making it easy to navigate snowmobile, ATV and boat trailers. There is room for several vehicles.

Does the home have air conditioning. No. However, the home stays comfortably cool because of the tall shade trees.

How is the lake lot bordered? It has a seawall that runs the entire length of the lake front and into the canal. There is a dock you can walk onto and separate steps to walk into the water.

We arrived for a 3 day girls weekend. The house was easily accessible, very clean, and there was plenty of parking space for everyone. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had, even offered to let us stay a bit later on checkout day so we could enjoy of kid and husband free time a bit more. The owners were very quick with communication and extremely friendly and helpful with activities in the area. The cabin was nicer than it looked like in the pictures. Everyone that stayed there was very happy with the place and will be booking for out trip next year if it’s available.

Beautiful house with a great kitchen and nice sized rooms. We really loved the property.

We enjoyed our family time of cooking together and playing games. We went to the Otsego County Park just down the road and our children loved the playground and played all day.

Stayed there July 4th weekend. Loved the place. Property manager - very responsive and helpful. The property has private lake side area, pit, chair - ask property manager for details. We missed it, but you can enjoy there, swimming, fishing, renting boat etc.

Just what we were looking for our extended family.

The cabin, amenities were as described, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We were in a great spot for our day trips, Mackinac Island, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Gaylord. We did not use the lake, since we were more focused on our day trips. Enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Peaceful and Perfect Home Base

Family vacation

I must say first, very clean and well stocked. It is a beautiful place, very roomy. We enjoyed the firepit, deck, and I loved that it had washer/dryer, dish washer, and two bathrooms! Kids loved the loft area and the giant tv during the rainy day. We had two boats with us and they tied to the dock wonderfully. We felt secure leaving them there. Great place to stay!
