A wonderful step back in history. The grounds are spotless, views beautiful, and the chance to sit on the front or back porch, peaceful. Staff were very helpful with us. One suggested places to dine in Petoski. It would be better for us if breakfast started at 7:30 rather than 8 so we could start our walks earlier. The pastries were good and yoghurt were appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay at the historic Terrace Inn. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The hotel was well maintained given its age. The front porch was special and reminded us of the front porch on the Grand Hotel on Mackinac island. The hotel was a short bike ride to town on safe and well lit paths. Our only suggestion would be expanding the continental breakfast items a bit. The fresh cinnamon rolls were great but we would have enjoyed some cereal or toast/bagels and fresh fruit (only fruit option was green bananas). But overall we loved the hotel and would happily return.

For a very old hotel, it was wonderful! The staff was fantastic and took care of things better than we would have expected. They were all very friendly. Our waitress Maggie, took good care of us and the manager Michael got us a drink even though the bar was about to close for the night. We would definitely stay at the Terrace Inn again.

This is a beautiful historic old inn. Personally I love the historical structure and the neighborhood of Bayview is filled with the most charming victorian homes, most of which have exteriors unchanged by time! I do with the Terrace Inn would improve it's wifi. We have almost no cell reception there and the wifi just barely worked.
