Very nice big cabin. It is right on the border of the Smoky Mountains National Park. Very peaceful.

Beautiful setting in the Smokies

The accommodations were well suited for our large family. The cabin was located in good proximity of downtown Gatlinburg and many other attractions. Was disappointed that the arcade system wasn’t working and it took two maintenance calls to get the home theatre up and running. Our calls were responded to quickly and everyone was friendly and helpful and an adjustment was made due to the issues we had. Overall, our family had a great time.

Nice stay

The cabin housed 14 people beautifully. We did have an issue with the upstairs A/C but the management company was very responsive and had it fixed two ours after we arrived. The cabin can use a little updating or finishing touches; dishwasher missing a part to the handle that locks the door; toilet seats are old and worn; broken chair at the kitchen island. Nothing major. Setting is perfect and beautiful. Never could get the arcade to work but we enjoyed pool and foosball (although the foosball table needs attention. We wish we would have known to bring our own DVD's for the theater room. But, all that being said, it was a very nice place to stay for two nights. We had 8 adults and 6 kids ages 2-10.

Not quite as advertised

Property has terrible drive way, upstairs hvac did not work at all. No dart board, game for the kids did not work ever. 2 burner grill for 8 to 12 people, that was a task. Hot tub had to be turned off at bedtime. Sounded like it was going to blow up when running. Carpet was completely ruined downstairs coming apart not dirty. Just wish the pric we would have been a lot better for the issues we experienced.

Awesome place

Only bad thing was the driveway, it’s not described in the description of the property. Only 1 true parking space and no turn around room. Other than that property was spectacular.

Nice weekend trip

Overall our experience was good at this property. Elk Springs Resort was very easy to work with and kept us up to date from checkin to checkout. House is located in a nicely landscaped area and is convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Kids loved the games and theater. We did have to call about one of the beds having dirty covers and they sent housekeeping out to change it within an hour. The pull out sofa mattress is throughly worn out and the mattress pad was filthy. Also no dust pan was there with the broom for sweeping up the floors. The beds in the main floor and downstairs are very tall so if traveling with people that cannot climb or pull themselves into bed, I would suggest different accommodations. A step would have been nice for us vertically challenged people.

Entertainment room is one of my favorite place to relax. Everything in these cabin is great. There is one thing comes to my mind. At the basement i would suggest to seal e all around to prevent the entry of any insects or bugs from outside.But overall it was a great vacation that we experienced with this cabin.
