Based on the choice of our owners, dogs are allowed in "pet-friendly" cabins only, no cats or any other animal. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee for each pet. There is a maximum of 2 pets per pet-friendly cabin. Pet size is limited to 50lbs per pet. All pets must be leashed at all times or kenneled when left alone in the cabin. Pet owners are responsible for the cleaning up of any pet refuse. Pet fee does not cover additional cleaning that cabin may need after check-out; the guest is responsible for any extra cleaning charges. All pets must be up to date on vaccinations as well as flea and tick preventative medications. All items above are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. If a pet is found in any of our units that do not allow pets a fee of $250 will be charged to the guest, your reservation may be cancelled, and your party may be evicted without refund.

Mountain Sky was just amazing! Clean, well kept and had all the necessities and amenities you’d expect… the view and location are what makes this place exceptional. You get both a mountain and scenic view from the hot tub and balconies, and a gorgeous Mountain View from the fireplace also. We saw SOOO many bears. A big boy, a mama and two cubs. It is truly a five or so minute drive into Gatlinburg. There is a Baskin Creek Bypass” my husband discovered that takes you right to a primo parking lot next to “The Village” right on the main strip! Traffic was almost a non issue- which is a LOT for Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. The WiFi was good and strong- never any issues. Water pressure was great and the water stayed hot throughout my extra long showers. The hot tub was very clean and smelled like clean crisp water and nothing else. I was so impressed. We will definitely be booking with Summit for Mountain Sky next time we plan a trip. Also- side note- these are good folks- my son left his MacBook there and they returned it for us haha…! Can’t wait to see yall again next year thanks for everything Summit!

Excellent Vacation!

This property exceeded my expectations! Pictures didn’t do it justice. The process from booking to arrival was simple. The cabin is excellent. Location is wonderful. We saw Bear everyday, make sure you lock those car doors! We witnessed 2 days in a row a bear opening car doors. Luckily we had ours locked because one attempted to get in ours. Our party included 6 adults and a dog. It was very spacious and had something for everyone! We played pool, made s’mores in fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub! Excellent Stay! Highly recommend! I will be back!

Quick Gatlinburg Trip

This property was close to the main strip of Gatlinburg, and far enough away to enjoy the quiet. We saw bear several times while enjoying coffee on the beautiful decks. My kids enjoyed the arcade games and pool table and the adults enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Overall this was a great cabin!

Exactly as pictured!

This cabin was exactly as pictured! The cabin was not too far away from the attractions, grocery, etc. Our only snafu was not knowing we only got 1 free ticket to Dollywood with the booking. We would have purchased them in advance if we’d known. We lucked up and caught a sale though. They do provide 1 free adult ticket to virtually every attraction in the area, please register in advance. If you had known this we would have registered for at least 6 activities so each adult in our group got in free. Even with this, we’d absolutely stay here again.

One of the most beautiful properties in which we have ever stayed, that is poorly poorly mismanaged. The security system control box beeped once per minute as soon as we checked in. We called the management company, which was very easy to communicate with, and they sent a maintenance man to take care of it while we were out for dinner. We came back. It was still beeping so we did not sleep well that night, think of a smoke detector needing batteries. The next morning we called back and were told the maintenance man was there 15 minutes and never heard it. Either the maintenance man was lying or he was deaf, but they made it sound like we were lying. That is no good. He came back out and was not able to turn it all the way off, but he did turn the volume down to such a level that it was no longer an issue. We did not know there was a Keurig K cup coffee maker or we would have brought the cups, we knew there was a drip brew coffee maker, so we brought everything for that, but the coffee maker was missing a part we did not know about, and as a result, the coffee maker vomited Both times we tried to make coffee with it. We went and bought the K cups, and it was not a problem, however, when we called to report the problem with the coffee maker, we were told again kind of like we were lying, or we didn’t know how to make coffee, because no one in the history of that property I’ve ever had a problem with the coffee maker.I’m a retired police officer and marine and have made coffee.
