Spacious, clean room with air conditioning in a convenient location. Had a beautiful view of the water. Ice machines & filtered water filling stations next to the elevators, though the ice machine on my floor wasn't working so I had to go one floor down. Small refrigerator in the room. Paid parking available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Extremely long walk around the maze of buildings just to step outside. Extremely loud as well, there was a late night (1-2 am) set up of a function that took over the lobby making it a pain to it leave in the morning. Assisi, there were a lot of loud people screaming and shouting in the courtyard late at night. Obviously out of the hotel's control, just know the clientele it attracts.

The Hotel Galmont was an excellent choice for our stay in Galway. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative was a lack of drawer space (our friends’ room did have drawers.) There was an in-room safe. We didn’t take advantage of the spa because we were too busy, but it looked very nice.

Very nice property on water Clean large rooms Comfortable king size bed Has all the amenities Access to well equipped gym with hot tub , and large pool There is a so but we didn’t use it Good restaurant on site Didn’t have breakfast as too expensive Very close to train station and bus stations with a two minute walk which is very convenient Walking distance to Italian quarter and shopping Bathrooms are good but toilets and tub are outdated and would be nice if the hotel upgraded the washroooms Overall we enjoyed our stay

Our room had maintenance issued that could easily been addressed prior to our arrival. Toilet made a terrible sound each time it was flushed, toilet seat was loose and the mirror in the bathroom was coming loose from the wall. Also limited space to hang towels for reuse.
