Welcome home to Seaside Village. Our beautiful apartment and townhome community nestled in the heart of Galveston, Texas. We are just a short trip from Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark, the Pleasure Pier, the Strand, fine dining, and abundant shopping. With nearby Gulf Freeway 45 and our central island location, your commute will be the last thing on your mind. Come enjoy Galveston Island in your spacious stress-free vacation rental! This is not a party place and no events are parties, loud music or intrusive behavior will be allowed.

Our expectations are high and it’s truly important to us that all of our guests have a wonderful experience and stay.

Our VRBO has recently been updated with new mattresses, new pillows, updated furniture, new accessories, new washer and dryer, new refrigerator and dishwasher, new light fixtures, new ceiling fans, new paint and more!

This is a beautiful condo is on the second floor and is a townhouse so there are stairs. Pool viewThere is no elevator access and I just like to put this out here because some of the ratings that I have received as a four were only because it was a second-floor apartment with stairs and they did not see it in the description so I have added it in multiple places. It is not handicap accessible.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Galveston! The location is perfect! Within walking distance of so many great restaurants and attractions! Also a short drive to many other points of interest. As noted, this location is not directly on the beach but just across the street. Do not let this deter you! All of the resorts and hotels are set up this way as they are on the road along the seawall. The walk is minimal and the beach is fabulous. I have stayed at resorts directly on the beach that have a longer walk to get to the water! The VRBO host supplied a wagon, beach umbrella and assorted sand and water toys. Very convenient if you are traveling with children and don't have the space to pack these things. The complex is very well mantaineed and the apartment itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. All the comforts of home for cooking or just relaxing after a day at the beach. We also enjoyed the two outdoor balcony areas for morning coffee and the very last of the afternoon sun on the upper balcony. The permanent residents were very nice and we made some new friends. Really nothing I can think of that was missing! We would definitely stay here again if we should find outselves back in Galveston.

We had a really wonderful stay here! We walked to the beach, rode the trolley many times and enjoyed the pool. We had everything we needed and then some. We especially enjoyed the wonderful assortment of beach gear! The very best part was Catalina! She welcomed us so kindly and offered a variety of drinks and snacks. she made arrangements for us to check in early and she went and bought a crib for the VRBO when we needed one. she really did go above and beyond. we bothered her so many times during our stay and she was always so gracious and incredibly helpful. we loved her so much!!! thanks for a great stay!!

Amenities were nice. Communication the day of and a few days ahead was not the best. Tried to get early check in and was told they were checking then had no follow up, tried to ask the day of and didn’t hear back for hours. We got there and 15 min later someone walked in to show the place while we were unpacking. Lady was told we weren’t going to be there until an hour later and then proceeded to show the place in its entirety while we were unpacking. Felt uneasy that someone had our code to get into the place without warning the whole weekend. Overall a nice stay but felt a little uneasy with the random visit to start

Weekend in Galveston

The apt itself was nice. I wouldn't have booked it had I known there really isn't a beach view. The list says beach view but you can not see the beach from any point at the apt. It was clean and decorated cute. I just never book anywhere that I can't look outside and see the beach. I feel the listing say beach view is very misleading if that is one thing you look for when booking.

Weekend in Galveston

The house was clean, decor was cute and comfy and a great location close to all restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked. I would say the property was a little more worn than the advertised pictures but keep in mind this is a coastal property with aggressive weather. The doors to the patio were stuck shut. The pool area was also nice and all the residents were friendly. We very much enjoyedour stay!

Perfect for a relaxing trip with friends

Our stay was wonderful. The apartment was well maintained and decorated perfectly. We had everything we needed for our stay and more. The location was great and walking distance to the beach, pool, restaurants and other locations. The residents were so welcoming and even invited us to join thier crab boil! We had a great trip and would be delighted to stay here again.
