False advertisement

I want to start by saying that I have been staying at Hyatt hotels for many years! Sadly, I have never been as disappointed as I was during this stay. The lower level is under renovation, which the website stated would be finished over a month ago. I looked past that issue until I got to my room and noticed that the hallways were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. My room door and the door beside it had wood chips falling off, and both locks looked like they had been pried open at some point. The bathrooms were clearly only quickly wiped down. The pool was closed with no mention of it on the website, yet they are still using it as a selling point. This is clearly false advertising, and we could have stayed at many other hotels in the area. To add insult to injury, they suggested that we use the gym instead to get what we paid for—as if they are the same. I chose this hotel for sentimental reasons and because I have never had a bad experience until now.

We stayed there with our volleyball team during a tournament. Hotel is a good option for families. There were other volleyball, soccer & cheer teams there. Rooms was clean, beds & pillows were good and the staff was friendly. I think the property under went renovation, but might be behind schedule. There was a pile of furniture in the alcove in the pool area, which is very small and packed with kids. Wall paper was peeling and the initial first impression was meh. It was clean and convenient and my daughter enjoyed her time with her teammates. Mission accomplished.

Not very impressed but ok for one night.

The service was great. Maria was very welcoming at breakfast! However the room dirty. Bathroom trash was half full. The bathroom door was very dirty with handprints and grease. Carpet needed better vacuuming and the coffee mugs had old coffee in them.

Some features seemed as if they were "falling apart", such as paint peeling off the walls in the lobby and the elevator shaking heavily when used. The area was nice, staff was very friendly, but we experienced some technical issues with the TV and wifi.

Nice place. Will probably return

Nice enough place. Under renovation construction but it wasnt too bad. The only complaint I have about the room is that the bathroom door is frosted glass, so if someone goes to the bathroom at night it lights up most of the room. Other than that, everything was fine.
