Very untrust worthy.

Arrogant, deceitful manager who tried to double charge my credit card even though it had been explained that the additional charge was not valid. He took no notice and tried to charge my credit card anyway. Luckily Barclays Fraud team spotted the activity and blocked the additional transaction.

My previous visits to this hotel have all been very good. However on 15 March, the very loud fire alarm in all the guests' rooms went off six times between 02:00 and 05:30. Not a good sleep!

Older building. Noisy floors-sounds like everyone was stomping. People outback of hotel smoking drinking and loud very late-through the window noisy. Fire alarm went off 6 times during the night beginning at 2:30. They did give free breakfast in service recovery for being up all night

The room was very small but sufficient for the price bracket. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. One member of staff was very over stressed, frequently ignored people at reception for a long period of time, complained a lot about his workload, made it seem that getting a table for dinner was a really big deal and inconvenient despite there only being three tables eating when I was there. Asking for a drink in the evening felt like a big inconvenience. Whilst he was polite when you did get his attention you were made to feel that everything was just too much for him despite the place being practically empty. Some background music would have also made it much more pleasant. The evening meal was excellent

This is a budget property and I paid a budget price. The positive - breakfast was pretty good. The not so positive - no hairdryer in the room, duvet was very thin and no top sheet either. Overnight roadworks meant a lot of noise (obviously this is not the hotel’s fault). I was twice woken up by people running along the corridor and knocking on my door. Very limited dining options - I was told that I could only get bar food and had to book a time within a specific one hour period. I declined.

The hotel is in an exceptional position, with amazing views of the loch. The rooms were comfy, although the bathroom was not the cleanest. The rooms were very very hot. The evening meals are very basic - not the best. The breakfast was ok. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would stay again .

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The room I was given was very cold, and while I asked about changing rooms, I was told the hotel was fully booked. They did provide a portable heater, but it wasn’t enough to make the room comfortable. Additionally, the view from the room was underwhelming, and it didn’t match the description or photos. Based on this experience, I won’t be booking here again. But breakfast was good. And the reception girl was helpful
