I traveled to Fort Wayne to visit the Allen County Public Library for genealogy research, so this location was perfect. It was a short, easy walk, and it was especially fun to stay in a historic home while exploring my own family history. Parking was easy, and I enjoyed using the living room right outside my bedroom (the Eliza George room on the ground floor).

Everything was great! I had some questions about the check in process and the number provided answered me right away! The rooms were clean and so cozy. The sheets in the Sion Bass room are so soft. The jet tub was also incredible. I wish I had some more control over the temperature in my room, but other than that, a flawless stay!!!

I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). The little garden surrounding the building and the deck in back both were very nice. I last stayed at this property 16 years ago (when it was under different management) and it was very nice on both visits.
