Other than the two ladies who helped me upon checkout, my experience wasn’t very good. I was never told I had a $200 resort credit. Which went to waste and they wouldn’t credit me. The staff overall (except the two hosts) were quite rude and not very welcoming. No one ever smiled. Everyone looked annoyed to be at work. I truly did not enjoy the experience at all.

NEGATIVE STARS AVOID AVOID AVOID Why? Where to start? It really started with the entirely preventable SHARK ATTACK ON AN INNOCENT BOY AT A HOTEL-OPERATED FACILITY, which occurred two days before our arrival. Then there was the part where every meal cost me my dignity in exchange for THROWING UP AN ACTUAL PIECE OF PLASTIC that came from the unfrozen 40$ dumpling you ate at Chop Stix. Or, could it equally be that the very next day, my partner also got such bad food poisoning from the $90/per person buffet. They spent an entire night in the bathroom. It may have also been the tales from our cab drivers and other locals about the suppression of worker strikes over things like firing or removing all of the people who you know were performing unimportant services like protecting you from shark attacks - this was also apparently a result of the predatory and crap management of Brookfield. It could also be that when I went to report throwing a piece of hard plastic that - trust me - was from a re-heated dumling - nope, I don't even drink - and no I wasn't looking for a discount - you would have to pay me hard cash to revisit this hotel - but they still asked if I had PULLED THE PIECE OF PLASTIC OUT OF VOMIT AS EVIDENCE. I was treated like a potential lawsuit or scam artist as opposed to you know a guest or a human. Atlantis, YOU SUCK. The staff and virgin beach 10 minutes away were fantastic. DO NOT GO HERE. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
