Hotel issue

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent stay at your hotel. Upon arrival, I took a shower and the water overflowed, flooding the bathroom floor. We immediately tried to contact room service but received no response. My spouse went downstairs to report the issue in person, but unfortunately, no one came to fix it. As a result, I was unable to use the bathroom for the remainder of the stay, which was extremely inconvenient and disappointing. I hope this matter will be addressed seriously to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

We had a great stay. Hotel is in a great location for tram (and airport), station is 15 min walk and Duomo 25 min. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful with checking in/out, luggage storage and directions to city centre. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and fantastic shower. There was a coffee machine in our room but no milk provided. We could have asked for some but we preferred to buy a cup of freshly ground from the cafe on ground floor - they also had a selection of pastries, pizza slices and focaccia - handy for a grab and go breakfast or snack. The rooftop bar and pool was open and well used - it’s a really lovely space with a good vibe and views. The bar service was too chaotic in the evenings and quicker to go down to ground floor to buy beers and take them up to the roof to drink. I’m guessing this violated a ‘no glass’ policy on the roof but they seriously need to look at the bar service up there. There’s also a selection of food to order on the roof. Pool was a welcome addition after a hot day exploring Florence - water was very cold! Small criticisms: the hotel facilities are obviously being well used by guests and locals but you need to ensure that staff are clearing away used plates, cups and glasses from the cafe and rooftop bar, it’s not a good look! The shower doors need a deeper lip on them, bathroom floor was very wet even after a quick shower. Rooms on the 3rd floor can hear music from roof which could be an issue for some at night

Room was decent and staff were really friendly, the gym was well equipped and had everything I needed for a quick workout. My room was underneath the rooftop bar/pool so there was quite a bit of noise coming from an event on there, but this ended around midnight so wasn’t a major problem for me. Location wasn’t quite as central as I’d have liked, but was still within around 30 minutes walk.

This waa a very new and interesting place. Lots of activity going on and great facilities. The pool and view from the rooftop are exceptional. The free laundry is a great amenity that I really appreciated. I had a few issues with the housekeeping. The floor wasn't vacuumed well and the didn't leave water for a couple of the days. It's a pretty good walk to get into the center and getting rides is difficult and expensive, just something to consider if you don't want to walk allot.

When you first arrive the lobby area is quite nice and I was hopeful for an enjoyable stay. The women helping to check me in was also helpful and someone recommended a great restaurant I enjoyed. However, the hallways to the rooms, and the room itself were very unexpected. If felt more like a hostel and the room was very empty with nothing on the walls etc. The window only had a black out curtain and no privacy drapes so often the room was dark. No bed side table on one side and the other side was tiny. The bathroom is dark and lacking anywhere to store things. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything all night long. The AC was not very efficient so I did not sleep well. For the price of the room, this was a disappointing stay. On check out, the young man assisting was quite rude and unhelpful. Definitely areas for improvement!!
