Well-located but not well-appointed
We liked the location and size of the apartment but were not impressed with the check-in process via Keesy nor the attention to detail. There was no welcome book with things like: WiFi password, local recommendations for restaurants, groceries, wine store, where to buy bus tickets, emergency phone numbers, etc. No water, sugar, nor milk for tea or coffee, etc. This is unlike any Air B&B I’ve ever rented. The Keesy check-in process was awkward and impersonal – we felt like we were in a SciFi movie with people watching us in a locked room, boxes opening and closing, the screen being taken over, then being scolded for wanting two sets of keys (there were three!). In the apartment, the decor was almost 100% IKEA – fine but without personality, warmth, charm, or quality. The beds were okay but not particularly comfortable. Again, it was fine but not special in any way (except for the terrace). Great location with lots of wonderful local restaurants – we especially liked L’Ortone for great food and service. Skip the Cibeb Group of restaurants – mediocre food and rude host and servers.
