Hotel was clean and has been remodeled. No hot breakfast foods. Seniors should request a first floor room as there is no elevator. It's an older hotel but has been fairly well taken care of.

The room I was given was in extremely poor condition — the sheets had visible stains, and there were roaches present. This made the room uninhabitable and far below acceptable hygiene standards.

The front desk is behind plexi glass and feels like you’re checking into a dodgy area. I was surprised at the feel and cleanliness of the place based on the ratings and reviews. Our bathroom was not cleaned well - there was a towel from the previous guest hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The parking area was open but seemed fine. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff was amiable and efficient. The room was ample, modern and clean. Ample parking even for vehicles with trailers. The facility is a very well maintained vintage hotel. Don’t expect the glitzy new buildings being built today, but the renovated rooms with comfort, cleanliness and amenities are exceptional. I recommend it.

Stayed one night on my way to Virginia. Very dated hotel, not sure how it has an excellent rating. My room smelled like a cross between an old man and a gym locker. When I ran the water in the bathroom it had a sewer smell. I had to spray my perfume in the room to get whatever the smell was out of there. Just very musty and old. Not thrilled with the location as I did not feel 100% safe. Thumbs up for the staff at check-in and check out, and the bed was comfortable once I sprayed the pillows to get rid of the smell.
