Beautiful Hotel and Great Location

Loved this hotel and the breakfast was lovely with the best cappuccinos! Our room was a great size, containing a small living room, a spacious bedroom and a very spacious bathroom as well; all very clean. The decor/atmosphere was welcoming for Italy, and the only thing I didn’t love was the stairs lol we put our bags in the small elevator with my husband and I trekked up the stairs, however it was a needed workout after all the carbs and cheese lol overall I would recommend this stay and the location is fantastic!

All in all an amazing place to stay! Staff were very welcoming and in an amazing location! Our room was bigger than most apartments in London but I’m sure it varies. The only two downsides are the only way to get to the rooms are via stairs but have 2 lifts that are pretty much always available for you when you need them. The other one is although it was amazing having our room look out onto the piazza it did mean that we had music going on until 1am. Didn’t affect us too much but if you have kids maybe ask to have an internal room.

Hotel Pendini was an excellent choice. The location is fabulous near the piazza, historical sites and dining. We could walk to everything. The hotel was beautiful, the staff hospitable and the breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend and will stay again.

I deducted a star because it area is very noisy for sleeping, I realized the hotel has no control over out side noise , however the noise went on all night until 4-5.

The location was perfect. The staff was very helpful, I needed transportation to Bologna to catch my flight and they help me get a taxi to come at 2 am to drive us there. They went above and beyond and am very thankful. I would come back again

This is a terrific hotel to stay at in Florence. The location is central convenient to everything. The hotel itself is historic, and feels that way. That could be a plus or minus depending on your taste. If you want a modern trendy hotel this is not for you. But if you want to really feel like you are in Italy and not just in a chain hotel that could be anywhere then you’ll love it. It feels like visiting a relative’s house who lives here. The breakfast is excellent too, an unexpected bonus.

Best location, walkable to everything: train station, restaurants, museums, Duomo and other famous landmarks, shopping. Room was spacious, mini fridge. Complimentary breakfast included both hot and cold dishes. We utilized the laundry service, which was very convenient. Would absolutely choose to stay here again. Be aware, as we found with each hotel we stayed in Italy, you will sacrifice noise from the busy streets for prime location.
