The front reception staff, the housekeeping and the amazing breakfast spread and staff were all fabulous! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely view and balcony of the couryard below! The location was a 20 minute walk to city center, most points of interest, shops, restaurants and the transportation hub. We would definitely recommend and stay here again when back in Firenze!

Enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Lorenzo . Staff were friendly and helpful . The hotel felt special with high ornate ceilings , a beautiful staircase and high end decor . Our room was a classic double, it was quite small but had everything we needed. Closet space was limited but we managed. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom had a lovely range of toiletries . We had private use of the spa(one time) included in our package . The spa consisted of 2 jacuzzi’s, a steam room and sauna and was a lovely way to relax after a busy day . Breakfast was good with lots to choose from and the dining area was bright and airy . There was outdoor seating too which would have been perfect when the weather was warmer .

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed our time here for a week. The only issues we had were the property conditions. Our towel bar and toilet paper holder fell off the wall every day. When I used the dressing room at the spa, the molding fell off the wall and blocked the door so I couldn't get out. Thankfully my husband was outside the door and was able to put the molding back on to let me out. Our light switch to the bathroom broke so we couldn't turn the bathroom lights off too. AC didn't work but that could be because of the time of year. We didn't want to ask because we felt like we had already pointed out too many issues and didn't want to be annoying tourists.

Was visiting my daughter at the Pepperdine Campus Villa and the location of the hotel is perfect. It is literally around the corner from the villa. Nice .8 walk to the city center. Pharmacy, and a couple of delicious restaurants just down the block. The common area was wonderful to sit and relax to visit with friends and and staff is very attentive. Nice breakfast in the morning and complimentary snacks (croissant/cookies). They arranged taxis and even provided a boxed snack breakfast for our early morning flight which was very kind. It is comfortable, safe, and clean.

Staff were friendly and hospitable and it is well located near a tram stop that takes you to the airport. The hotel provided a very relaxing stay and sole use of the gym and spa was an added bonus. Great restaurant nearby (pizzeria da nasone).

The staff were lovely. The breakfast was good too. We didn’t visit the spa but I wish we had. The coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Was only a short walk to the tram stop and not too long to walk into the city centre. Definitely recommend this place. It was far enough away that it was quiet but not too far away from the tourist attractions.

The hotel was very nice however it’s worth noting there is no ac in the rooms and the mattress is quite thin and uncomfortable. Unfortunately we stopped going to breakfast due to morning staff personal hygiene. (Body odour) We didn’t feel comfortable enough to mention this at the desk at the time but on reflection we should have as this experience really tainted our stay, especially in the communal areas & whilst eating.

This was a sweet place, more of a 3 star, than 4 star. Room was good, lots of sounds, not great room insulation, but you are staying in an historic building. Breakfast was awesome and staff was VERY kind and accommodating. It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo (about 25 minutes), I love walking so not an issue for me. It's in a very residential area right on the tram path, so can be convenient for some.

We liked the kindness of the staff and the quality of the service. Did not like the tiny room, the ridiculously tiny shower cabin, the smells (due to old and bad plumbing). Hotel is borderline far from the tourist interest points. I wish Michele Ugliani took a shower in this hotel before he asks people to believe this is a 4 star hotel. It is a 3 star at best.
