The stay at this apartment was great and it served our purpose well. There was plenty of room for two to spread out. Communication with our host was great and she was very responsive. She also provided very clear check in process and there was no issue gaining access to the apartment. Inside, there is a binder with lots of information that was very helpful (food, taxi, emergency numbers, where to take trash, etc.). Both air conditioners worked great in 90 degree weather. The apartment is 5 min walking distance to the leather market and Mercardo Centrale which was a great surprise. The neighborhood is quiet and there are plenty of pharmacies close. There is also a GREAT for breakfast and cappuccino (Cafee' Il Sole). The only complaint about the apartment was the shower did not drain, at all. We had to continue to turn the water off to let the water go down and turn the water back on again; we did this several times. There is a cute, small balcony in the apartment. Beware if you do not like to climb steps. There are four flights up. Slick steps and with heavy luggage it was a challenge.

Plus: It was nice apartment. It was right next to all the great sites to see Pretty quiet Had all amenities as stated Neg: streets around apt were very tight. If you are claustrophobic you may not be comfortable with the entry hall and stairs Overall it put us right where we wanted to be and was satisfied with our stay

A gem in the middle of Florence. So convenient for everything. Fantastic Trattoria all around. Great communication and helpful information. The apartment itself just needs a little ‘refresh’ of decoration and home improvements (bedside lights, cutlery …). A great location. 3 flights of stairs to the apartment.

Perfectly located

Indeed very close to train station and tourist attractions. Located inside a historic apartment building, so we did hear neighbors. Not too problematic though. Friendly lady whoo let us in, pleasant communication
