Greatly improved!

We had stayed at this hotel a number of years ago. The hotel was needing some attention. We were somewhat hesitant to book at this hotel again. We decided to try it again because the reviews were quite positive. We were pleasantly surprised. The beds had been replaced and were very comfortable. It looked like the flooring had been replaced as well. Very nice! The only issue that we encountered was, during the first night, the room temperature was hard to set at a comfortable level. The second night wasn’t an issue. Normally, this kind of issue doesn’t resolve itself. I can’t figure out how, but we were able to set the temperature at a perfectly comfortable level for the second night. Breakfast was good.

This room was the messiest I have ever seen! The check in clerk was very pleasant and she tried her best to make right. Cleaning people should be fired. There were dirty towels, food left in the micro and used soda cups laying under the heater.

Excellent customer service!

Nice hotel! Clean, good breakfast, comfortable beds,but the customer service was by far the best I've experienced anywhere in a very long time. Friendly, personable and attentive. When we left my husband didn't have his phone, thinking he left it in the room we called the hotel. The front desk employee was great, they offered to go right to our room to look for it. I quickly got a call back saying it was found. They didn't see bothered or put out by doing this for us. Good, friendly customer service is really hard to find these days and I am impressed with the two employees that helped us at check in and check out! Treat them well so they stay, they're a great asset to your business :) I wish more people realized a little effort goes a long way and took pride in their role.

Good room

I booked the hotel room due to icey roads. It was a great rate, and the staff were nice. The breakfast was decent. The only complaint that I have is that there was no remote for the tv in the room (I looked everywhere for it), and there were chip crumbs in the bedside stand. Otherwise, clean room.
