We were asked to park in certain spaces, which was fine. However, there was a car parked in the lot on either side of where we were to park that basically looked like a homeless person lived in their car. They didn't have a tag the first night, but then after that, they did. Not sure if they were legit or not, but is was definitely uncomfortable parking there. The bathroom door would lock and you couldn't get out without the person on the outside pulling it open. Not sure what would have happened if you weren't there with another person. The breakfast buffet, however, was awesome. It was the saving grace of our stay.

We booked through Expedia and were bombarded with emails—three just the day before check-in, which felt excessive. Despite all the notifications, not one mentioned the check-in time. We arrived at noon and were curtly told to come back at 3pm. With little to do nearby, we aimlessly wandered for hours. When we returned, there was only one receptionist while the manager scrambled to assist another guest. After waiting 15 minutes, another staff member finally appeared. Once we checked in, the front desk staff were at least helpful, offering a map and directions. The weekend was rainy, so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool, though it likely looks better in summer. Unfortunately, the facilities are outdated—no USB ports, and our room had a very damp carpet near the door, likely from rain seeping in. Worse, the bed sheets were also damp, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. Adjusting the AC didn’t help with the humidity. Breakfast was decent, but surprisingly lacked dairy-free options, even though our room had dairy-free creamer. A small plus: they provided a makeup wipe in the room. Overall, this place needs serious updates and better organization. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

visited fairfax for the first time for a concert and needed somewhere to stay before a long drive home. the hotel was lovely, and staff was very efficient with check in and check out! room was neat and clean as well and the town of fairfax was lovely.

Loud noisy staff

Reserved a poolside room and was placed near poolside, but back into a hallway where it seemed the service staff would congregate. All I heard throughout the night was the service staff talking loudly and with no concern for the guests staying there. I also could periodically smell cigarette smoke and also what I think Was sewage. Then when I turned on the bathroom lights, I saw a few roaches. The room and the beds were fine, but the other details left me never want to come back to this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. The biggest thing was the service staff talking loudly at 1am and banging outside of your door every other minute. Poor quality sleep and worrying about bugs the whole night. I don’t recommend this hotel.
