Perfect quiet solitude is what we hoped for and received it beyond measure. The bed was the most comfortable sleeping experience I’ve had in years. As someone with severe back issues I always worry when we book a vacation. I didn’t need to worry at all. I haven’t slept this much in years. The icing on the cake was watching the meteor shower during its peak on the night of the 12th. With zero light pollution the night sky didn’t disappoint. It was an easy walk on the trail to the river. We saw an osprey in flight going down the river twice. We had on two occasions twin fawns with their momma visit the front grass area. Bird song all day was the only noise. Our host was so quick with reply’s it was almost instantly. The house/cabin was adorable. It was very clean and had everything we could need. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and were able to completely relax. We had a wonderful time just doing nothing. This exceeded all of our expectations for a much needed vacation from our busy lives. There were plenty of things to do in the area only a quick drive from the property. Whether you wanted to go hiking, kayaking, wine tasting, try craft beer, or hit the distilleries, it all is just a few minutes from the property. Thank you for providing us with the perfect relaxing vacation we so desperately needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent the property again.
