Room was clean. Bathroom clean. A little musty smell in the room. Big room for sure but carpet needs work replaced or just flooring instead. Would be nice to have a luggage stand and a chest for clothing as we were there 4 nights. Beautiful property! Friendly staff and guests. Had a little issue but owners absolutely went above and took care of us. Thank you!

It is an ok place, but WAYYYYYYYY overpriced. I paid $223 for one night in a standard king room. The staff was nice, office and Gravel bar are very nice areas, but the rooms and stairs leading to the rooms are lacking. The rooms are very basic and our bathroom was very outdated and old. Old blue tile, old mirror and a toilet that was leaning way to the right. Carpet needed to be cleaned, locks on windows were broken (they were plenty big enough for an adult person to climb thru) mattress was comfy but the bedding was thin and not warm. Pillows were very small. Our room looked nothing like the photo that was portrayed. The concrete stairs leading up to the second floor were chipped and broken, as well as the railing being rusted and wiggly, and just not safe. Every time we went up them, we joked about at how easily you could fall on them. The city experienced a power outage from about 1 pm until 8:30 pm (not Wanderoo’s fault), but the staff did not go around and check on guests and no offer to discount the already overpriced room was made for the inconvenience. The rooms here are $100 rooms at best. I’d definitely recommend the Gravel bar, but not the cheap old rooms.

This property is so sub-standard. The buildings should be razed they are so old. Paint is peeling inside & outside, wood trim should be replaced, old door locks are only 1/2 removed. It’s a dump. Long term renters doing brake jobs on vehicle in parking lot. What a mess. It was clean inside room.

I enjoyed my 2-night stay here in one of the cabins. The staff in the office and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The lodge is right off of 62, so it was really convenient to get in and out of, and there's a gas station and convenience store right next door. I ate at the onsite restaurant my first night there and had the pickle pizza, which had house-made pickles. It was sooo good. I highly recommend the lodge and restaurant.

I've been vacationing at the Wanderoo Lodge since '21. Between the pool, Gravel Bar and Grill and the fire pit, you really don't need to go anywhere! It's always a fun time at the Wanderoo.

The rates at pretty high for what you get. The pool is a small concrete pit. The rooms are halfway remodeled, so the bathroom is straight out of the 70s. We found hair in the shower, found a ladybug on the pillow as soon as we checked in. A bug in the bathroom. I get it’s Arkansas in the summer, but come on. The stairs and deck are shoddy. For $200 a night it’s just not worth it! There are cheaper places to stay that are nicer. The only perk is there is a great restaurant/bar next door with live music.
