Basin park is a great location. Walkable to downtown, the restaurant and bar are great but a bit pricey. Staff was friendly. Rooms are very small, no chairs to sit in. But it’s worth it due to location. The old hotel has lots of charm and several locations to sit, read a book, watch your kindle or visit with friends.

Zombie Crawl Weekend

Parking was offsite which we weren’t excited about but the shuttle was very prompt and easy so no issue. Door man, professional, front desk always helpful with questions we had. Spa, wife enjoyed it and found it very relaxing. Restaurant- this one really needs its own review. We stayed during the Zombie Crawl and they were super busy. We ate at the restaurant three times, each time the waitstaff was great. Service was great despite being super busy, everyone was hustling!!

Hotel in great location and a a beautiful building. But feels like its not been updated since its build date in 1905. Carpets, lighting and fixtures all in dire need of replacing. Room was dark, dingy and unclean

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. We used the shuttle to the parking lot and had drinks at the bar. The building is obviously older but the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Historic hotel but needed some renovations. Carpet in room needed to be cleaned and stretched. Carpet on stairs vacuumed/shampooed. Matress was very soft and did not fit the box spring frame. When we brought it to their attention they said no one had ever complained but would check into it after we checked out.
