The Piedmont was a fun, historic boarding house turned into B&B with ensuite baths. Very clean and the bed was comfortable, but the floors are hardwood and not much insulation between floors. Unfortunately, the person above did a bit of walking around past midnight which made it hard to fall asleep. They provide snacks, fruit and coffee, but no one seemed to be attentive to the coffee machine being out of water for the Keurig. So we just did coffee/breakfast on the road. Also, they have on site parking, but it is on the road below the house, so be sure to unload first, then go park below and climb the steps up to the Piedmont. The hosts were very helpful when we were checking in late and couldn't get a signal to retrieve the check-in codes. I phoned them and they answered immediately and gave us all the information we needed about unloading, codes and parking.
