Travelodge UK - accommodation in Esher

Great location. Convenient access to three different underground stations. Right in the theater district, and close to covent garden, which was a cool place to grab a beer and watch some buskers. Walking distance to all the obvious tourist spots: West Minster Abbey, Big Ben, London Tower, etc. Right by the river. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very well located, with plenty to do in the surrounding area. The on-site amenities, including the restaurants, were excellent. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the staff throughout our stay were friendly, helpful, and professional. Both check-in and check-out were quick and seamless. The only downside was the room temperature. Due to the age of the building and the heat wave London was experiencing during our visit, the air conditioning was unable to cool the room adequately. For three of the four nights we stayed, the room temperature remained between 25°C and 26°C, which made for some very uncomfortable nights of sleep. That said, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help. While the issue was beyond their control, they did everything possible to make us more comfortable, including providing additional equipment to help lower the room temperature. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which are very promising and would definitely make us consider staying here again in the future.

Pod was more spacious than I expected. Staff lovely. Easy and convenient. Take ear plugs and an eye mask.
